My Story Begins in a Classroom in Soweto
For 10 years, I taught there — and for 10 years, I watched young girls carry burdens no child should bear. That experience, rooted in love and heartbreak in equal measure, became the foundation of everything I do today.
With a deep passion for healing, I transitioned into therapeutic residential childcare in the UK, where I now work as a trauma-informed care practitioner. That calling also led me to found the Her Healing Journey Foundation CIC — dedicated to the healing, safety, and empowerment of girls aged 10–17 in Soweto.
This journal is my heart on paper. My continued conversation with those girls — and with every woman walking the road to wholeness. Welcome to the journey.
